The Muggio Vallet is known for its typical products. First amongst all the Zincarlin. This cheese has a unique aroma, due to the characteristic flora of the Valley, is recognizable for its upside-down cup shape, and is still produced following ancestral techniques.
There is also the polenta flour made with a rare red corn (an ancient Ticino variety of very high quality) ground in the historic Bruzella water mill that reaches many village stores and local caves every day.
Then there is the Amaro Generoso, an aperitif that reinterprets the “medeghètt”, the typical liquor of the Muggio Valley based on Artemisia absinthium, a plant that stimulates appetite and helps digestion. And we cannot forget our Merlot and many other delicacies, some of which can be tasted in our snack bar.
